Dr Lane retirement

You may be aware that after many years at Forest Health Care, Dr Lane has decided to step back from being a partner at Forest Health Care.

We are sure you will understand that with the practice having more than 8000 patients it is not possible for Dr Lane to be able to see you all to say goodbye. For those of you who would like to pass on your best wishes to Dr Lane we have set up an online card so you can submit your messages.

Alternatively, I’m sure she would be delighted to receive any cards at Cinderford Medical Centre, Valley Road, Cinderford, GL14 2NX.

Dr Lane was born and brought up in Gloucester, then after training and first jobs in East Anglia and Cornwall came back to Gloucestershire. She got a placement on a training scheme which involved hospital jobs around Gloucestershire, followed by a trainee year at Forest Health Care, joining as full-time GP in 1991. We are immensely grateful to have had her at the heart of the Forest Health Care family for all this time and help us provide patients care across the Forest of Dean.

Her step back will allow her more time for her hobbies, sport and volunteering and we are sure you will agree she is fully deserving of more free time to pursue these pastimes.
